If you read me, you might have noticed that I only blog about places I have tasted and liked. So today, let me tell you about an unsual venue, which is gorgeous and where the food is delicious.
Located on the first floor of the Odeon Theatre, in the very heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the café spreads between the majestic columns, Corneille and Racine statues, Beauvallet and Lafontaine paintings, picturing comedy and tragedy. Not a bad setting don't you think ? And so French. There are a lot of people from the surrounding publishing houses.
The menu changes everyday. The food is delicious. It's homemade and prepared out of fresh products selected for their good quality. I have eaten several times there, and it was always nice and tasty. From the starters, to the deserts including the mains, everything is beautiful. And the prices are very reasonable, especially for the area. If you want to check their menu out, it's on their Facebook page.
FYI: they serve brunches on Sundays and they lend 18th century board games ;-)
