Café Saint-Médard

Special post to thank my dear friend Ayelet for the great moment we spent today around a nice piece of chocolat fondant and a cup of coffee, at Saint-Médard café, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.

This café was created in the 50's and is named after the opposite 18th century church. There is a lovely sunny terrace which is absolutely great between April and September. Today, as it was rainy and cold outside we decided to sit upstairs in order to stay warm and to enjoy the view over the square and the church.

Next time, I will try to come and have lunch as this bistro also serves homemade food prepared out of fresh ingredients from the market. The reviews on the internet are pretty good. As far as the service is concerned, the guy who helped us was not too nice but wasn't unpleasant either. That's about what you get in Paris isn't it, even though I will never get used to it.

Anyway, we had a lovely time, so thank you so much Ayelet. 😘
