This morning I took my beloved children to Le Flore en L'Ile, for breakfast.
I like this place because it's located on the beautiful Ile-Saint-Louis, just at the back of Notre-Dame and the view on the cathedral is fabulous.
We got there at around 11am and whereas the other restaurants didn't accept to serve breakfast, saving their tables for lunch (grrrrrrr) , Le Flore en L'Ile welcomed us with pleasure. My son and I ordered French breakfasts with gorgeous croissants 🥐 , orange juices and coffees. My daughter asked for pancakes but they were not so nice. It was surprising because the food is usually lovely there.
We had a great time. It was nice to have a good chat.
Nb: there is often a long line in front of the restaurant. It's because they sell the famous Berthillon takeaway ice-creams.
