Paris Déco Off 2017

The "rendez-vous" of international interior designers and decoration editors, Paris Déco Off..., will be held between Thursday January 19th and Monday January 23rd, 2017, mainly on the Left bank, in the district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
The free event gathers 111 prestigious brands. During five days, they will welcome both general public and design profesionals, every day, from 9:30am to 7:30p and Saturday January 21st, 2017, until 11pm for a special night.

And from today until February 6th, Eugène Delacroix museum, located on the very Place de Furstemberg, hosts a special exhibition of pieces from museum of "Toile de Jouy" (Jouy print canvas). It was lovely to see these pieces presented in the apartment and in the studio of Eugène Delacroix. It's in this apartment that Delacroix spent his last year, from 1857 until 1863. He chose it because it was close to Saint-Sulpice Church, where he was in charge of decorating the chapel. Eugène Delacroix really enjoyed his apartment and his garden, which has been redesigned in 2012, exactly like it was at the time Delacroix. It's so peaceful and quiet. Don't miss it.
