Brooklyn Bon Marché paris rive gauche

As an art lover I had a great time today discovering the new destination chosen by the Bon Marché Rive Gauche for it's "back to school"theme: Brooklyn. This New York district facing Manhattan houses many creative artists who make handmade, vintage and organic products.

More than a hundred different brands have crossed the Atlantic for this operation, some of them are even presented for the first time in France. The selection is very large: fashion, beauty, accessories, design, children, food. It's on three floors: basement with a great selection for men and a DJ, ground floor and first floor with the largest selection and even a coffee corner and a barber.

Amongst all the products selected, I had a crush on the Alpaca  beanies, the Mason jars which can be used for cocktails (as it's the case in many bars in Paris at the moment) but also for cooking, plants or even pencils. Together with the exhibition, some activies such as brownie-baking sessions for kids are scheduled.

The prices start from few euros so, even if you are on a budget, you'll find something nice.
